Power Distribution Units RPDU

The RPDU power unit is an intelligent power distribution unit, giving full control over installed devices in the server rack cabinet. It allows for remote, local control of working devices, which can supply power from 2.3 kW to 22 kW for a single PDU, from the load capacity of 10A for single-phase power supply, to 32A for three-phase power supply.

The possibility of remote management of each socket and built-in electricity meters in the 1st accuracy class allows you to provide valuable information about the actual energy consumption for each socket and the entire strip. Consequently, current energy consumption can be monitored on an ongoing basis.

The RPDU unit also allows for monitoring of electrical parameters, such as:

  • supply voltage [V]
  • current load [A]
  • power factor (cos);
  • active power [W]
  • apparent power [VA]

as well as electricity meters [kWh] for the entire pdu and each socket.

Thanks to such possibilities, the administrator can take actions in the case of exceeding defined alarm levels.

To better manage and protect installed devices, the RPDU unit is equipped with protocols ensuring secure communication (HTTPS, SNMP v3, ModBusRTU, SysLog, SSL, SSH, Radius).

The possibility of further equipping the RPDU unit with the set of environmental sensors, such as temperature/humidity, door opening, flooding and smoke, allows for full monitoring of environmental conditions in the server rack cabinet.

RPDU’s are available in the 19” 1U version and in the vertical version with the possibility of using tool holders and tool-free holders.

An additional feature that support the simultaneous engagement of several or more devices with high power consumption is the sequential engagement of sockets, with the possibility of their temporary delay during engagement.
