Poznań Science and Technology Park of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation
The Park was the first technology park in Poland with a research unit status; its area is
5.4 ha. It consists of 80 innovative companies and over 60 research laboratories with a total area of more than 18 000 sq.m. The mission of the Park is the promotion of knowledge and technology, especially in the area of chemistry, physics, biotechnology and IT, based on the scientific research, unique expertise and specialised infrastructure.
Out task was to provide the network infrastructure devices worth PLN 610,000 to the server room of the Complex of High Technology Incubators.
The scope of the investment included the supply of racks and power distribution units with accessories for the server room of the Complex of High Technology Incubators:
- BKT 4DC server racks equipped with vertical covers, shelves, cable organizers and blanking panels in the amount of 59 sets,
- power distribution units with environmental monitoring modules and door access, flooding, temperature and humidity sensors in the amount of 120 pieces,
- BKT 4DC cable duct system connecting individual racks and rows of racks,
- data transmission, fibre optic and copper network elements – adapters, pigtails, patch cords and U/UTP Cat 5E and 6 cables.
