Purpose of the investment:

Expansion and modernization of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering building of the Gdańsk University of Technology

Requirements of the Investor:

Modernize the backbone network in the faculty building to make it possible to use new solutions and to create an education and research base.

Project:

The ICT network was upgraded through the modernization work in the building. The task was to integrate the system and install connection points in the learning and lecture halls.

The installation work included laying of 35,000 m of U/FTP LSHF Cat 6A cable and installation of 400 LAN connection points in the building. The backbone system in the building is under a 25-year warranty.

• Indoor structured cabling
• Optical fibre cabling
• Connection accessories
